Over the start finish line in 5th hugging the pit barrier and then aim up and left towards the top of the circuit and the amazing Paddock Hill Bend. Brake late and hard, into 4th and hold the car out late before plunging right and downhill into the corner, clipping the inside kerb and flooring the throttle. The car will drift to the outside of the track but beware going too wide and receiving a penalty.
Up the ultra steep hill in 4th then hard on the brakes and into 3rd for Druids. Keep tight and neat on the inside being patient with the throttle until you can floor it, slide across onto the outer rumble strip and then plunge downhill and face a dilemma. You should short shift up to 4th and then immediately down to 3rd again.
The new left hander Graham Hill bend is an awkward horrible corner. Try to carry your speed through but beware the very high inside kerb and rough outside rumble stripe. Into fourth and a smooth course along the slightly curving bottom straight before flicking left over the kerbs at Surtees and then immediately right. Get it right and you'll do it without braking. But you must be right on line - and brave.
As you flick through the right hander of McLaren you have to keep the car well under control as you start braking almost immediately into the climbing Clearways. A quick downshift to third then turn the car in across the early apex and then play with the throttle as the car scrabbles round the off camber corner. Try to keep it fairly tight for a fast downhill exit, into 4th gear and then onto the straight, hugging the inside pit-rail side.
Check the pit board, take 5th just before the start-line and then start the roller coaster ride all over again.
