Over the start/finish line midway up on the banking, looking left to check the pit-boards and also checking oil and water temperatures. Then brake and down into fourth for the left and right flick at the chicane. Takes real concentration here on the line through, trying to straight-line as much as possible.
Back up to fifth gear and mid way up on the banking before braking hard and down into third for the first hairpin. Turn in to apex on the second part of the inner kerbing and accelerate over to the right of the track, and then over to the left.
Brake, then right into the awkward uphill corner where it is easy to run wide and take off the spoiler. Stay on the left on the exit then right into the next fast bend making sure that you clip the apex and don’t slide too wide because you then need to go to the right of the track and left around the sweeper. Let the car settle in and carry the speed through the corner, snatching 4th early on as you straighten for a few yards. Keep the car in a smooth flow right through this long corner, finishing on the far right of the track.
Straight for a few yards and maybe a dab on the brakes before the next left using a late apex and then drifting to the far right downhill. Back over to the left, brake and into third for the second hairpin. A real late apex, hard on the power and drift out for a clean run uphill past the back of the paddock and into fourth. Brake, into third then turn in quite late and let the car drift to the outside.
Into fourth, pull to the middle right of the track, brake and down into third and then turn in late and hard for the final hairpin onto the banking. Vital to get the power on cleanly here for maximum acceleration onto the banking. Better in slow and out fast.
Through the gearbox taking fifth part way round the banking where you should keep fairly low down, letting the car run easily onto the straight and another lap.
